The Brig-Aletsch ski resort is located on the itinerary of the famous Glacier Express that connects Zermatt with St Moritz. 11 ski lifts will take you from the Brig ski resort to the Belalp ski area, a high plateau where the sun and snow are generous. With its "ski on foot" formula, the Brig ski resort has the "Familles Bienvenues" label. 60km of pistes of irreprochable quality are waiting for you at the resort. The main attraction of the resort is the Hohstock tunnel that takes skiers to the off-piste paradise. Close to Brig, you will find many ski areas with trails for cross-country skiing. A very famous panoramic excursion is offered to holidaymakers on the southern face of the Lotschberg. Every year, in January, the "Derby of Belalp" is held: the "descente des sorcières" is 12km long and welcomes 1000 participants dressed as witches.
